Gloucester County Education Association Names GCEA Educational Support Professional of the Year

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - The Gloucester County Education Association has named the GCEA Educational Support Professional of the Year.
Christine Kosar was awarded the honor for the 2015 to 2016 year and was recognized at an awards ceremony. Kosar serves as the President of the Washington Township Schools Support Staff Professional Associated. Additionally, the award recipient has been a bus driver in the district for nine years.
In addition to her honor, Kosar was also recognized as one of the eight New Jersey Education Association members selected to receive the NJEA/Eagles Pro-Educator of the Week award.
Additional recipients include Traci Davis, School Bus Driver for Glassboro School District; Bruce DuBoff, School Library Media Specialist at Pennsauken School District; Donna Halpin, 8th grade ELA Teacher at Gloucester Township School District; Kathy Hart, Special Education History Teacher at East Windsor School District; Scott Newhall, Physical Education Teacher at Mullica Hill School District; and Ryan Vaux, Counselor at Shamong School District.
The honoree’s received a pair of Philadelphia Eagles home game tickets and a VIP tailgate party hosted by Eagles radio 94.1 WIP.
“It is an honor to represent so many wonderful ESPs,” Kosar said.  “I am lucky to be surrounded by so many outstanding colleagues.”
