The Animal Welfare Association Announces 2015 Annual Holiday Fund Drive

VORHEES TOWNSHIP - The Animal Welfare Association (AWA) announced their annual Holiday Fund Drive, which focuses on giving the gift of hope to local animals.
The Animal Welfare Association is a private, non-profit, 501(c) 3 animal welfare organization that serves the people and animals of Southern New Jersey. Donations during the holiday season help AWA plan for spay/neuter surgeries, educational programming, and assists with the adoption of as many animals as possible.
The organization performed over 9,000 spay/neuter surgeries and adopted out over 2,150 pets so far in 2015.
“We are grateful for donors who make AWA their charity of choice,” said Maya Richmond, Executive Director. “We are dedicated to improving animal welfare and increasing services for pet owners in our community. We rely on gifts made during our Holiday Fund Drive to start off the New Year in a strong position to provide shelter, food, and medical care for the thousands of homeless pets who will come through our doors in 2016.”
