VIDEO: Local Homeless Veterans Get a MakeoverPosted:
MILLVILLE - The group called Celebrating Our Veterans got together with Enphront Veteran Services to give South Jersey vets a makeover.
Celebrating Our Veterans welcomed in about 20 homeless vets to provide them with haircuts, clothes, coats, food cooked by the Woman's Club of Millville, and provided help to get them off the streets and back on their feet.
"We do case management with every individual," said Mark Ford, Executive Director of Enphront Veteran Services. "We do try to identify what barriers they might have towards independent living. We try to bring sustainability to each one of the individuals, so that when they do get permanent housing, they are able to keep it as well."
Veterans need more than just a hand, they need your help. To continue to provide services for our homeless veterans, Enphront needs donations and volunteers. To learn how you can help, visit http://www.enphront.com.
