The Jewish Family Service Receives $25,000 Donation

MARGATE - The Jewish Family Service (JFS) received a $25,000 donation from a dedicated philanthropist for its 2015 Turkey Drive.
James Klinghoffer, who made the donation for the sixth consecutive year, supported the drive which provides turkeys and trimmings to individuals and families during the holiday season.  The benefactor is also asking that the community match his contribution in order to assist the agency in meeting the growing needs of individuals and families throughout the year. Klinghoffer’s request was answered with more than $6,000 donations being made to date.
Klinghoffer is a long-time supporter of JFS and founded the James Klinghoffer Nursing & Nutrition program in 2010. The program offers seniors a support system in order to develop and maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
The JFS Pantry is also accepting donations of $30 to provide a complete Thanksgiving meal, including turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and other fixings for a family in Atlantic County. Checks may be mailed to the Jewish Family Service Turkey Drive at 607 North Jerome Avenue, Margate, NJ 08402.
