Local Dentist Inducted Into American Society for Dental Aesthetics

VINELAND - The American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA) inducted Dr. Steven Rasner, of Vineland, on Wednesday, October 14th.
The ASDA awards membership to dentists who have demonstrated a commitment to the highest standards of care and advancement in the field and are internationally recognized as leaders in the field of dentistry, submitting numerous cases that illustrate advanced concepts of aesthetic dentistry.
Dr. Steven Rasner holds a permit in enteral Sedation Dentistry, which refers to the way dentists manage pain and anxiety during dental appointments. Rather than general anesthesia which renders the patient unconscious, Sedation Dentistry allows patients to respond to commands and breath on their own. The New Jersey Dental Board does not permit dentists to advertise this as sleep dentistry however, this effect happens to 99% of patients.
The inductee, who is in the top one percent of dentists in the country, was accepted into the organization after 19 years in the field as a sought out thought leader in over 45 states and five countries. Rasner has completed over 5,000 hours of education and has achieved a Mastership status at the Academy of General Dentistry and is well known for treating patients with a long-standing phobia of dental treatment.
