The Boys and Girls Club Celebrates Annual Gala

VINELAND - The Boys and Girls Club of Vineland celebrated its Annual Gala with a Mardi Gras theme to mark the occasion.
The gala, which was held at the Centerton Country Club, featured several attractions including a Creole cuisine menu, an auction, dancing, and Zydeco music. The club also used the gala to recognize several people and organizations that have provided their support in various ways throughout the year.
Those recognized during the ceremony included Jennifer Negron as the 2015 New Jersey State Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year winner; Tracy Swan-Grova of the Walter Rand Institute/Cumberland County Positive Youth Development Coalition earned the Community Friend Award; Frank Vegliante of Lowe’s earned the Community Friend Award; Gail Marino of Bay Atlantic Federal Credit Union earned the Community Partner Award; Roy Trader of the Juvenile Justice Commission earned the Community Friend Award; and Chtris Volker, Boys and Girls Club Executive Director was recognized.
All proceeds from the event will help support renovation efforts for the Club's new facility located on Crystal Avenue in Vineland, which was donated by Bay Atlantic FCU.
