ATLANTIC COUNTY - An agreement between Stockton University and Atlantic Cape Community College would allow students a cheaper and easier path from a 2-year Associates Degree to a 4-year Bachelors Degree.
"I think the significance of this signing is to ensure that any Atlantic County resident who wishes to pursue higher education [can]," said Dr. Harvey Kesselman, President of Stockton. "Atlantic and Cape May County Residents everywhere from beginning to end, has an opportunity to do so now seamlessly between Atlantic Cape and Stockton."
The main goal is to give students more opportunities with ease.
"It is about opportunity," said Dr. Peter Mora, ACCC President. "Community college students usually attend a 2-year college to transfer to a 4-year college. That's really their goal. And for us, this is a gold-star university, and we'd like for more of our students to go there if they can and this program really does make it seamless if this is where they want to go."
