Walk N Talk Program Dates Confirmed

SALEM – The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed dates for the Walk N’ Talk Program.
The walks, which will focus on Complementary Health Approaches, will take place on designated Tuesdays or Thursdays across Salem County with all walks beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Seniors age 60 and over who participate in the Tuesday, November 10th and Tuesday, November 24th walks, will receive a free-boxed lunch after completing a small registration form. However, to be eligible for the lunch, participants must RSVP by 8:00 p.m. on the day prior to the walk by calling 856.339.8622. The Office of Aging is providing the lunches which meet the nutrition requirements outlined by the office.
The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services encourages residents with special needs to participate as it plans to continue its partnership with the Office of Disability Services. Caregivers and support staff are welcome to attend and interested special needs residents who require transportation should contact the Salem County Office of Aging at 856.339.8622 in advance.
