The Jewish Family Service Still Providing Sandy Recovery Program

MARGATE – The Jewish Family Service (JFS) has spent the past three years assisting individuals and families affected by Superstorm Sandy.
The JFS Sandy Recovery Program, which will conclude at the end of this year, has provided support such as food and rental assistance to help with applications. The recovery program is still working to help those in need and can provide homeowners with up to $2,500 in reimbursements to assist with the construction or lifting of homes that were damaged by Sandy.
“Despite three years passing since Superstorm Sandy, JFS is still working to help people recover and rebuild,” said Andrea Steinberg, CEO of Jewish Family Service.
