Casino Worker Wins $1 Million Mega Millions Lottery Ticket

PLEASANTVILLE Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, announced that the $1 million second-prize winner from the Friday, November 27, Mega Millions drawing was Ramon Rosario, 62, from Pleasantville, Atlantic County.
Rosario is a regular patron of the City 99 Cents Market on 1410 Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City, where he purchased the winning ticket.
He said that he uses a specific strategy when he plays and it led to the winning ticket in November.
At the beginning of the month, he says, he purchases five quick-pick number sets on one ticket. For the drawings that he decides to play, he uses the same numbers generated by the initial quick picks.
Rosario has been an Atlantic City casino kitchen worker for 16 years. He said that he will use his winnings to pay his student loans and retire earlier than anticipated.
