VIDEO: Camden County Contractor Indicted on FraudPosted:
BERLIN TOWNSHIP - A Camden County contractor has been indicted on fraud for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from customers. The Camden County prosecutor in the case says that there may even be more victims out there.
Firas Emachah has been indicted on 64 counts, accused of theft by deception and writing bad checks.
Emachah is the CEO of his Berlin Township business Dream House Windows. However, it's been more of a nightmare for the dozens of customers who collectively lost more than $200,000 when prosecutors claim Emachah took their deposits, but never did the work.
Prosecutors say that when customers complained and tried to get refunds, Emachah would then write a bad check to cover the refund.
Anyone who thinks they might be a victim related to this case is urged to contact the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office at 856.225.8479.
