VIDEO: Operation Brotherly Love Hosts Annual Carnival

PHILADELPHIA - This past weekend the Christmas spirit was brought to hundreds of families in need at Operation Brotherly Love's 7th Annual Holiday Carnival at Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia.
Out of the thousands of volunteers, many from South Jersey pitched in and helped give families in need a Christmas to remember.
Children and their parents were brought by bus to the home of the Philadelphia Eagles, where they were able to participate in carnival games, dancing, entertainment, food, and fun.
Each of the more than 2,200 kids left with a gift, a winter coat, and a day filled with memories.
Operation Brotherly Love was started by a group of friends, including SNJ Today's own Frank Dimauro, but it since has grown to include partnerships with the Philadelphia Mayor's Office, Wawa, and Urban Outfitters.

SNJ Today is a Southern New Jersey news and information source based in Millville, New Jersey, that is dedicated to providing current stories related specifically to South Jersey.
