Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce to Host 12th Annual State of the County Event

GLASSBORO – The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) has announced that it will host its 12th Annual State of the County event on Friday, January 8, 2016.
The event, which is sponsored by Republic Bank, has sold out over the past three years and will take place at the Eynon Ballroom in Rowan University’s Chamberlain Student Center, located at 201 Mullica Hill Rd, Glassboro.
Registration is now open and may be completed either online or at the door. Registration at the door will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the main event will take place at 8:00 a.m.
Chamber members may access the event for $45 and non-members pay $60, either online or at the door.
This year's State of the County will showcase Gloucester County's success regarding its economy.
The mission of the GCCC is to be a leader and unified voice in creating a positive economic and civic climate in Gloucester County, resulting in growth and prosperity for business.
The VP of Government & External Relations at Kennedy Health, Lisa Morina, will moderate the event.

New Jersey Senate President - Stephen Sweeney
Rick Forman - Founder, President, and CEO of Forman Mills, Inc.
Forman is an honored speaker, having started his successful company in 1977. He began selling discounted T-shirts, sweatshirts and sportswear to local buyers at Philadelphia flea markets before his business skyrocketed during his years spent at Rutgers University.
While with Rutgers, Forman made strong business relationships with veteran retail professionals and opened his first Forman Mills factory in 1985. Today, Forman Mills represents a chain of 35 store locations across the Northeast. Forman continues to use a low-cost real estate model to guide his retail management strategies. His success earned him a recent appearance on today’s popular reality show, Undercover Boss.
