VIDEO: AtlantiCare Spreads Holiday Cheer at Pleasantville Housing Authority

PLEASANTVILLE — Santa's elves were out in full force in Pleasantville, Atlantic County, last Friday afternoon, December 18, sharing the Christmas Spirit.
Staffers from AtlantiCare stopped by the Pleasantville Housing Authority to drop off gifts as part of the healthcare company's holiday gift-giving program.
A total of 32 AtlantiCare departments participated this year. Thanks to the program, gifts will be donated to individuals and families in need throughout the region in an attempt to spread holiday cheer.
"Twenty-one of our families [have] been working towards achieving all of their goals that they have [and] we've decided that this would be the best way to say 'thank you' for all of the hard work that they do," said Kathryne Grady, a family self-sufficiency coordinator at Pleasantville Housing Authority.
The Pleasantville Housing Authority started collecting gifts back in September to prepare for the holiday season.
