VIDEO: Eliminating Red Tape in the NJ GovernmentPosted:
CAMDEN - New Jersey's Red Tape Review Commission met in Camden with the goal of reducing or eliminating some of the red tape surrounding the government.
Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno heads the Red Tape Commission. The commission met today at Rutgers-Camden and heard from members of the community as to which government regulations may be holding them back.
"It's very satisfying," said Freeholder Brian Levine. "We get to actually make the state work better and it's almost universally bipartisan. things come to our attention and they get fixed."
Area business and community members brought their issues to the commission and the Lieutenant Governor with the expectation that local legislators will attempt to resolve those problems.
