Vineland Public Library Announces Design a Bookmark Contest Winners

VINELAND - The Vineland Public Library announced six winners of the “Design a Bookmark Contest.”
The contest accepted entries from children in grades first through sixth in accordance with the theme “On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!” The contests theme aligns with the 2016 Summer Reading Program. Two of the winners,  Landon
Two of the winners,  Landon Gentile-Adamson and Yavianah Broughton, are students in Mrs. Maureen Riley’s library class at Barse Elementary School. Gentile-Adamson submitted the winning entry for the fourth-grade division, while Broughton won for the first grade. Both students were selected out of 335 entries.
The contests other winners who do not attend public schools within the district include second grader Mia Garofalo,  third-grader Ava Bermudez, fifth-grader Andrea Dominguez, and sixth-grader Hannah Hargrave.
The winning bookmarks have been printed and are available at the Vineland Public Library.
