VINELAND –The Jewish Federation of Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties and Beth Israel Congregation joined together for a special celebration on Sunday, December 13th.
More than 100 people attended the “Festival of Lights” which celebrates the final night of Hanukkah. “The holiday brings light to the community," said said Alfredo Winter, Rabbi of Beth Israel Congregation. "That is where it all begins. That is the message of harmony of Hanukkah.”
The event included birthday celebrations for two congregants who were present.
