Kindergarten Students Entertain Parents with Holiday Songs and Poems

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – The kindergarten students at Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center in Mrs. Michelle MacDonald, Miss Jennifer Natale, and Mrs. Angela Otto’s classes have been studying the December holidays of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa during the past few weeks.
“No matter which holidays they told us they celebrated, there were two constants: family and food,” said MacDonald.
The parents were invited to Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center to take part in an annual family holiday celebration. The students sang songs and read poems to the gathered audience.
At the end of the program, they joined their families for a feast, featuring food that they generally eat at their holiday celebrations.
