VIDEO: La Idea Incubator Brings South American Entrepreneurs to South Jersey

BRIDGETON - The U.S. State Department is showing South American entrepreneurs innovative ways to develop agriculture and they've chosen one South Jersey town as an example.
The "La Idea Incubator" program brings representatives of South American businesses to the United States and provides them with highly specialized training in areas like medical technology, advanced manufacturing, and agri-business. The two-week program is being hosted in Bridgeton at the Rutgers Food Innovation Center, where they were able to witness Cumberland County's innovation in person.
"It's been a good opportunity for us to communicate and share ideas and give them a sense of the opportunities if they come here to Cumberland County," said Jerry Valezquez.
The South American visitors arrived on November 30th and have been focusing on growing and developing food products and what it would take to get their businesses started in the U.S.
