Jewish Family Service Turkey Drive Feeds Hundreds

MARGATE – Hundreds of individuals and families enjoyed Thanksgiving meals this year due to the kindness of the Jewish Family Service (JFS).
JFS collected monetary donations as well as non-perishable food during October and November in order to feed local people in need. Almost 100 community members donated to the drive with a generous $25,000 donation from James Klinghoffer. Other contributions came from Ocean City Home Bank, AtlantiCare, Kulanu, Farley & Ferry Realty, Atlantic Cardiology, JCC Early Childhood, Esthetica Salon & Spa, Island Gym, and several other businesses and organizations.
Customers donated 60 full bags of holiday items as well as everyday pantry essentials during a JFS food drive at the ACME at Somers Point to feed families during the holiday and winter months.
