VIDEO: PATCO Returns to Regular SchedulesPosted:
MILLVILLE - There's a light at the end of the tunnel for commuters who have had to put up with revised PATCO schedules, and no it's not a train.
The Ben Franklin Bridge construction project that has slowed New Jersey to Philadelphia trains will be finished by the end of the year, and rail service will return to normal. The $103 million dollar infrastructure upgrade began in 2013 and has affected schedules ever since.
More recently, the leaf season schedule has caused even more delays on the rail line. For the final stages of the project, PATCO will return to a regular schedule Monday through Thursday morning, with a modified schedule Thursday afternoon through Sunday. That modified schedule is expected to end in about three weeks.
