VIDEO: Trump Taj Mahal Workers Continue Strike in New York
ATLANTIC CITY - Taj Mahal Casino workers went to New York to continue their strike as three other Atlantic City casinos have had their contracts ratified. Local 54 of the Unite Here Union says workers from the three "Caesars entertainment- owned" casinos in Atlantic City voted to ratify their new contract. Workers at Harrah's, Bally's, and Caesars reached a deal July 1st. A vote on the Tropicana contract is scheduled for tomorrow. The Tropicana and Taj Mahal are both owned by billionaire Carl Icahn. Picketers took their protest to Icahn's New York offices earlier Wednesday before marching to Trump Tower. Donald trump opened the Taj Mahal but currently has no involvement with the company. Management at the Taj Mahal has said the union seems "Hell-bent" on trying to close the property.
