VIDEO: Salem Police Inform Residents On Drug Overdose
SALEM - The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services is educating residents on how they can potentially save someone from a drug overdose. A free community training session was held Tuesday evening on the use of Narcan, and covered topics including overdose prevention strategies, signs, and symptoms, and how to administer Naloxone. Everyone who attended received a free Narcan kit. The session is one of many the county is offering to help better educate its residents on drug overdoses. Officials urge the community to continue to take advantage of programs similar to this one in the future.
