VIDEO: Roosevelt Plaza to Feature Fitness Classes

Camden - The Roosevelt Plaza Park will now feature a series of fitness classes, health and wellness education, lunchtime concerts, and family fun nights.
Water power is also available where visitors can use power pumps by cycling, which in turn activates water jets and turns recycled bike wheels.
Organizers say the pop-up events are about more than just having fun; it's about helping their community live healthy lives.
"This in one park among a series of parks and spaces throughout the city as the neighbors and residents have told us are underutilized and so our goal is to try and increase utilization of those spaces and get people out of their homes and into these spaces and an active environment," said Anthony Perno, President and CEO of Coopers Ferry Partnership.
This is the third year for the popular pop-up series, which is put on in conjunction with Camden's Connect The Lots and Get Healthy Camden Initiatives. Both are managed by the Coopers Ferry Partnership.
