VIDEO : Stockton University Adds Cultural Alliance to Facility
GALLOWAY - Kramer Hall in Hammonton is expanding in an effort to serve arts and history for the area. Stockton University is welcoming the South Jersey Cultural Alliance to its facility. To kick-off the festivities there was a ribbon cutting and a tour of the Arts District. SJCA, a non-profit membership organization serves over 100 regional arts and history organizations. "I think for Stockton and our students it provides many more internship opportunities for out students. It also allows Kramer Hall, which will have the Noyes Art Museum. It will have the South Jersey Cultural Center for Heritage and History in southern New Jersey. So this particular facility is becoming a hub for arts," said Harvey Kesselman, President of Stockton University. In addition to the celebratory move, Main Street in Hammonton was gifted $1,000 dollars to go towards their fundraising campaign for a piazza that would be used for its new New Jersey fringe festival and arts activities year-round.
