VIDEO : Man Gets Rescued By Coast Guard in Less Than 5 Minutes


WILDWOOD - After receiving an emergency call for a man suffering a head injury, it took the coast guard just four minutes to respond.
This past Saturday, the coast guard medevaced a 57- year- old man near Wildwood Crest.
At around 1 p.m., coast guard station Cape May was contacted by the New Jersey State Police about a man aboard a 25- foot recreational boat who suffered a head injury.
The station then launched a 47-foot motor lifeboat to assist.
The crew arrived on scene just four minutes after receiving the initial notification and transported the man to awaiting emergency personnel at the Coast Guard Training Center- Cape May.
