VIDEO: City Issues a Boil Water Advisory for Camden

CAMDEN - Camden residents are being told to boil their water after a water main break.
While service and pressure has been restored Friday following water quality testing, a "boil water advisory" still remains in effect for neighborhoods west of the Cooper River, until test results show the water is safe.
The warning was put into place Thursday afternoon after a 36 - inch water main broke.
As a precautionary measure, Authorities are asking residents in the area to use bottled water or to boil tap water for one minute to kill any potential bacteria. They also say remember to allow the water to cool before using it to avoid any potential injury.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. For updates, you can call American Water Offices at (856) 635-1496.
