VIDEO: Summer Reading Program Celebrates 11 Years

CAMDEN - Students and staff took part in a special 6-week program to prevent students from slacking off when school is out.
The Cooper Learning Center's annual program is in its 11th year now and focuses more on the arts.
"It's a win-win all around. The kids love it. They have a great time. It's not just reading, they do art work like you see here—they got engaged with. They do all kinds of recreational activities—arts and crafts, dancing—its just a fun day," said Dr. Richard Selznick at Cooper Learning Center
Though the program is more than 10 years old, today was the first time it was held at the KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy.
