VIDEO: The Annual Walk For The Wounded Will Be Held Next Month

OCEAN CITY - "Operation First Response" announced their plans for their 8th annual "Walk for the Wounded."
The three-mile walk will help raise awareness and funds to help meet the critical financial needs for the families of wounded soldiers.
On Thursday, at Veteran's Park, the mayor, members of the Ocean City American Legion post and Veterans of Foreign Wars post, the city's police, fire department, and community residents, all came out to listen to details about the upcoming event and thank veterans for their service to our country.
"Thank you is the most powerful statement in the english language. We don't us it enough, and we should start with our police, our fire, and our military. These young people that have served our country and have taken their families and shaken them upside down for us deserve every single penny and every support that we can give them," said Phil Martelli, Head Coach of St. Joeseph's University Men Basketball team.
