BRIDGETON - Former Phillies manager Charlie Manuel stopped by the Bridgeton Invitational Tournament on Tuesday night to sign autographs and meet with fans. Manuel guided the team to the World Series title in 2008. Fans seemed to love talking about baseball with Manuel, and he says the feeling is mutual. "I love to talk to people and I think that's what makes it great. People - they kind of congregate to me. They act like they know me. It's almost like I don't know how to act at times. Sometimes whether I like it or not, most of the time I love it, the attention is kind of amazing really. And I'm definitely not used to that but it's all about baseball. It's all about talking to people about baseball, and I love doing it. But not only that, I like meeting the people," said Former Phillies Manager, Charlier Manuel.
