VIDEO: Emergency Crew Spends a Day Rescuing Male Dolphin

NEW JERSEY - A male dolphin was rescued over the weekend.
Officials with the Marine Mammal Stranding Center say a male bottlenose dolphin was discovered in a small creek off of West Hand Avenue in Middle Township on Saturday evening.
Their team spent the entire day on Sunday working to catch the lost dolphin.
They were able to net the dolphin, which was then examined by a veterinarian before being released back into the Delaware Bay.
Officials say it's unclear why the dolphin was in the waterway, but it could have been searching for food.
