VIDEO: Four Women Rescued by Coast Guard in Strathmere
STRATHMERE - South Jersey's beaches have seen multiple water rescues over the past few days including one where the Coast Guard had to fly to the rescue. The Coast Guard said four women were swept out into the ocean while riding boogie boards tuesday night in strathmere. A Coast Guard helicopter crew responded and lifted the women in pairs and transported them to Corson's Inlet State Park. Two good samaritans in canoes who tried to help the women, capsized, but were able to swim to shore themselves. The Coast Guard says no one was injured in the incident.
