Video: N.J. Congressman holds Discussion on School Affordability
CHERRY HILL, N.J. – A round table discussion was held today in Cherry Hill to discuss affordability, an important topic for many college students, parents, and alumni. Leaders and teachers from south Jersey Colleges and high schools joined parents, and students for an event hosted by Congressman Donald Norcross to talk about the expenses associated with obtaining a higher education, and how the state is working on ways to make it more affordable. "From my own personal experience, I've been using financial aid, but a lot of students are not eligible for it. So, we just need to be able to give students more options on how they can afford it," said Natalie Jimenez, a student at Congressman Norcross intends to take ideas from today's roundtable discussion back to Washington D.C. where he plans to continue the dialog with congressional colleagues to identify ways to address college affordability.
