Video: Power Outages Planned for Some Egg Harbor Township Businesses


EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A few businesses will experience planned power outages this week in Egg Harbor Township.
It's lights out for many businesses in Egg Harbor Township Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Atlantic City Electric company is working with businesses and the police department for short-term power outages to finish schedules work in the vicinity of the new Walmart plaza on fire road and the Black Horse Pike.
This Tuesday from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. the Plaza Hotel on the Black Horse Pike is scheduled to have the power turned off. And this Wednesday the Cape Bank will have the power turned off from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. and Wawa will as well from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., respectively.
Officials stress that the outages are planned for businesses only and no residential homes or traffic lights will be affected.
