Video: North Wildwood Considering Name After More Than 100 Years of Use.

NORTH WILDWOOD, N.J. – City officials have been considering to return to the original name of their city nearly 130 years after changing it.
In the early 1900s, the City of North Wildwood changed its name from Anglesea, to capitalize on the popularity of the Wildwood Boardwalk, but now city officials are thinking of returning to their historical roots.
The city council requested that the Cape May County clerk place a non-binding question on the November ballot so they can see just what the residents think of changing the name back to Anglesea.
In order to prepare for the possible change, officials looked into the cost to re-brand the city's assets , which they found would be somewhere between $20,000 and $30,000.
