Video: Yamaha Superbike Challenge of New Jersey at NJMP this weekend

MILLVILLE, N.J. – The marque event of Millville, the Yamaha Superbike Challenge of New Jersey, will take place at the New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) this weekend.
It's the final event of the season for the MotoAmerica A.M.A. Superbike series and the crowning of the series champions will take place as well. All of the action will take place on the Thunderbolt Raceway, where fans can watch the riders zip around 12 corners and fly down the half-mile straightaway.
This is the most popular event to come to NJMP park each year and officials at NJMP say they're ready for a fun-filled weekend.
"You know we say come for the party, stay for the race. We have a lot more going on besides what's going on, on track. So we have BMX stunt shows, VIP experiences, there's Suzuki demo rides, paddock talks. There's a lot of other things going on besides the racing. So there's something, a little bit for everybody," said Ashley Freas, Marketing Manager at NJMP.
Contestants will be taking mostly practice laps on the track Friday and the action will begin on the weekend.
Qualifiers will begin on Saturday morning followed by the final races on Sunday afternoon.
