Video: Avalon Bridge Inspection Causes Delays in Daily Commute
AVALON, N.J. – County bridges throughout the state of New Jersey are beginning to be inspected which will bring delays on daily commutes. The New Jersey Department of Transportation requires in-depth inspections of county bridges, and Cape May County started inspections on Monday with the Avalon Boulevard Bridge, which is over Ingram Thorofare. The inspections are expected to last two days on the tall bridge, which will result in lane closures and delays. Inspection work will be halted in the case of rain or high winds.
