Video: National Drive Electric Week Celebrated at Atlantic County Wind Farm

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Agencies across South Jersey, drivers, and energy conservation enthusiasts gathered at the Atlantic County Wind Farm to celebrate "National Drive Electric Week."
On Tuesday, the 6th annual event highlighted the fun, clean-air, cost-saving benefits of electric cars.
"The idea is to make sure that people know how this form of personal and business transportation is changing and evolving and how quickly it's becoming available economically and what the benefits are environmentally and also financially in the future," said Richard Dovey, President of Atlantic County Utilities Authority.
Officials at the event say that the range of vehicles embracing electric technologies is growing with the expansion of charging stations.
The cars at Tuesday's event included Ford, Nissan, Tesla, and Toyota.
