Video: Another Arrest Made in Connection to Expressway Shootout


PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. – A sixth arrest has been made in connection to the highway shootout last month on the Atlantic City Expressway that left one person dead.
Police have arrested 25-year-old Wilbert Demosthene of Pleasantville who is now facing three weapons possession charges.
His blood was found in a pickup truck which authorities say was believed to be involved in the shooting incident last month. Demosthene took himself to a Philadelphia hospital with a bullet wound on his arm.
Back on August 29th, 22-year-old Rosemond Octavius was found dead in a car on the Garden State Parkway. The driver of that car, who was not shot, was put under arrest.
Three men and a 16-year-old boy were shot in a different car and drove to a nearby Wawa in Egg Harbor Township. They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and were later arrested.
