Video: NASCAR Comes to NJMP for the First Time

MILLVILLE, N.J. – New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville will host the 125 on Saturday, as part of the K&N Pro Series.
This marks the 1st time the venue has ever hosted a NASCAR race, and it's expected to draw over 10,000 fans to Thunderbolt Raceway.
The K&N Pro Series is a developmental circuit for NASCAR, much like a minor league that you would see in baseball, so a few of these drivers could be racing in major competition one day.
As the name implies, there will be 125 laps for the race, scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. New Jersey Motorsports Park also has events running all day leading up to the race, including BMX stunt shows and monster truck fan rides.
This will be a huge weekend for South Jersey race fans and possibly the beginning of more events like it in the area as well. For more information, you can visit the event website.
