Free Seminar For Salem County Residents Preparing to Enroll In Medicare

The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services, Office on Aging will sponsor a seminar on Thursday, March 19th for Salem County residents preparing to enroll in Medicare.
“Come out and get all of your questions answered by Mary McGeary, State Official,” said Freeholder Robert Vanderslice, who chairs the County Health and Human Services Committee. “Find out when is the best time to start your enrollment process.”
The seminar will be held at Riverview Inn beginning at 10 am. The discussion will include topics such as when to begin gathering information for enrollment, how long enrollment will take, and what is Medicaid A, B, and D.
“We want to make the enrollment process as easy as possible by providing as much information to you as we can,” said Freeholder Director Julie Acton. “The Office on Aging is designed by the state to provide this help, and we have certified counselors to assist  with all Medicare issues. “
Call the Office on Aging at 856.339.8622 by March 12th to register. The seminar will include lunch. Transportation is free to those individuals who request it. Seating availability will be filled on a first come first served basis and is limited to 150 participants.
The Riverview Inn is located at 60 Main Street in Pennsville.
