Beer Lovers Rejoice! "What's on Tap" is Coming to SNJ Today


Gary Monterosso, a globally recognized beverage author and personality, will be hosting “What’s On Tap” on Saturdays at 1 pm on WSNJ 1240 AM beginning Saturday, January 24th.

Monterosso is an award-winning critic who has written for national and regional publications, appeared nationally, and authored the book, Artisan Beers. The SNJ Today weekend one-hour show will feature Monterosso, as well as local and national guests who will help deliver a host of information and insight about the world of brewing.

The Upper Deerfield Township resident has appeared on many local and national television and radio programs discussing craft beers. He also appeared on BBC radio offering an American perspective on the beverage. Monterosso was the three-year host of a Sirius Satellite Radio network syndicated show about the brewing industry. He is currently featured in the History Channel show titled The Epic History of Everyday Things. Recently Chilled Magazine selected Monterosso to be a member of the “Chilled 100,” which according to the magazine includes the top 100 beverage personalities in the United States.

The January 24th show is set to include guests Tara Nurin, the founder “Beer for Babes,” Barbie Marshall, a finalist from Season 10 of “Hell’s Kitchen,” Andy “The Beerman” Coppock, host of “The Business of Beer,” Michael Naessens, of Eulogy Belgian Tavern in Philadelphia, Michael Kivowitz, President of New Jersey Craft Beer, Paul Simmons, of  Glasstown Brewing Company, and Ryan Krill, of Cape May Brewing Company.
