New Affordable Homes Being Built In Bridgeton

Applications for affordable new homes in Bridgeton are now being accepted.
Homes in the Gateway Community Action Partnership's Mill Creek Crossings program are being built on South Avenue and Eagle Street. All units include three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, appliances,  and central air.
The new residences start at $77,500 and first-time home buyers with an income of at least $30,000 with one dependent are eligible to apply.
Pre-requisites for Mill Creek Crossings home ownership include attending first-time home buyers classes, having a permanent income, qualifying for a mortgage, a credit score of at least 650, and being a United States citizen. Applicants must meet HUD guidelines and be approved by the NJ Housing Affordability Service.
Construction on the site will begin this year and applications are now available at Gateway's administration office located at 110 Cohansey Street in Bridgeton.
