Cumberland County Library Announces Children's Program Schedule

Cumberland County Library has announced the schedule for the children's program for the week of January 12th.
This week’s theme is “Brrrr! It’s Winter Time.” On Wednesday, January 14th at 10 am the preschoolers and toddlers will join Miss Candy for a story and craft time. This week's featured book is Outside by Deidre Gill, where children will learn "what is a dragon doing in the snow?" Afterward, they will have an opportunity to make hand print snowmen.
Also on Wednesday, children in grades 1-5 will focus on the weather by creating a tornado in a bottle. Attendees are being asked to bring in 2 small water bottles. Their program will begin at 4 pm.
On Saturday, January 17th at 10 am, the preschool and toddlers group will participate in activities that range from a beanbag toss to musical chairs, puppets, and age-appropriate board games. Then at 11:30 am, children in grades 1-5 will gather in the meeting room to participate in parachute play, freeze dance, and play board games.
Each program lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Cumberland County Library is located at 800 East Commerce Street Route 49, Bridgeton, NJ.
