High School Students to Spend Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Ronald McDonald House

In the spirit of service that honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King  Jr., Washington Township High School junior and senior class officers will be spending a portion of their holiday freshening up their sponsored at the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey and assisting with other house projects.
On Monday, January 19th, class advisors Carol Costello and Bob Gorski will be accompanying the following students:
Juniors: Jenna Alshay, Kayla Brown, Corri Calandra, Jade Cammaroto, Gianna Cirucci, Will Connolly, Rachel DaGrosa, Madison Dorney, Thomas Doyle, Frank Marasa, Kristen McEnroe, Chloe O’Neill, Kevin Tran, and Jaclyn Vece.
Seniors: Deanna Checchio, Jimmy Doyle, Lindsay Kane, Norris King, Tom LaSalle, Derek MacKinnon, Juliana Macrini, Alexa Mangual, Dan Marino, Ed McCusker, Palak Patel, Remi Striano, and Rachel Trewin.
The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey is located at 550 Mickle Boulevard in Camden. It opened in 1983 and is one of 284 Ronald McDonald houses in 31 countries. The House has served as a “home-away-from-home” for over 17,000 families whose children are being treated at nearby hospitals for critical illness or traumatic injuries. They accommodate over 800 families a year.
