City Commission to Support Cumberland County College Center After All

One week after The Millville City Commission voted against a $800,000 contribution for the proposed Cumberland County College Arts and Business Innovation Center, they have changed their stance in favor of the project.
The city called for a special meeting after local business owners and residents became vocal when the proposal was turned down. They have now agreed to pay $400,00 toward a $3.2 million loan for the Innovation Center.
Because the funding for the project has been cut in half, the city will still need to come up with another $400,000 by April 30.
