Millville Soccer Assocation - Winter Indoor Results

U-11 Girls
After playing to a draw on Tuesday against each other, the Millville Pride Blue and Orange squads took to the field again this past Saturday at Euro Sports in Egg Harbor. Pride Blue led off with a 5-2 victory over the Strafford Destroyers. Millville controlled the first half, scoring all five of their goals, including a tally on a well-struck corner from Chloe Gerstanbacher which found Olivia Giordano who volleyed the ball out of the air.
Pride Orange also walked away with a victory in their match against the Egg Harbor Lady Hurricanes. Millville found the back of the net 7 times, with the highlight coming off a cross from San'aa Doss, that was rifled home off the left foot of Jayme Sooy.
Both teams will take the field again this Saturday and look to continue their successful indoor season.

On Wednesday, the Millville Union went up against the Cumberland Regional Ball Busters in this week’s match at Gaetano's Indoor Soccer in Newfield. The Union opened up the scoring with a goal from Morgan Giordano, followed by Allison Andres. But the Ball Busters came back with a pair.  Before the half, Morgan Giordano was able to sneak one in the net from a nice cross from Jaida Brown. In the second half of the game, the Union scored additional goals from Allison Andres, McKenna McFarland, Alyssa Wilson, and Morgan Giordano finished with a hat trick. Assists were provided by Kylie Porch, Micaela Miller, and Jaida Brown. But, with seven goals in the game, it just wasn’t enough where the Ball Busters matched each Union goal with a goal of their own and ended up finishing with the score tied.
The Union will have off the next two weeks for the holidays and will return to action on January 7th.
