Philadelphia Eagles Challenges Dane Barse Elementary to Stay Healthy

Dane Barse Elementary School in Vineland participated in the ACME Play60 Pep Rally sponsored by the Philadelphia Eagles, much to the delight of their students and staff.
The focus of the program is to encourage staying active and eating healthy. Students participated in a game show combining questions on active lifestyles and physical challenges, including a dance challenge, a push-up challenge, and a relay race. Approximately 100 students in fourth and fifth grade were treated to appearances by Eagles cheerleaders and Swoop, the Eagles mascot.
At the end of the program students received an Eagles Play60 folder. The program also donated sports supplies to the school.
The PLAY 60 Challenge is a program sponsored by the American Heart Association and the National Football League that inspires kids to get the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity a day in school and at home.
