Girls Cross Country Team Brings Holiday Cheer to Young Hospital Patients
40 members from the Vineland High School girls cross country team took a trip to the Hamilton Mall's Build-A-Bear store as part of an annual team tradition benefiting pediatric patients. "The girls were sure to put extra love into creating and outfitting the bears," said Anna Centuolo, assistant coach. "The team wrote out custom birth certificates to 'Someone Beary Special' on each bear. The bears were than delivered to any child that is currently admitted at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. The team did this in hopes of bringing a little cheer to each family this holiday season. "It melted my heart to see the patients (responding) and thanking us," said one of the students. "It made my day and this experience was amazing."
