Max Leuchter Honors Students at Character Recognition Ceremony

Max Leuchter Elementary School in Vineland recently honored students during their Character Recognition Award Ceremony.
Every month the school teaches a character trait lesson and asks the students to practice that trait. At the end of each month, teachers are asked to nominate a student who displayed the given trait the best.
The ceremony recognized students for the months of October (Respect), November (Self Control), and December (Empathy).
"This was a great event that showcased students helping to make their school environment safe and welcoming," said assistant principal Carmella Heer. "It was thrilling to see so many wonderful families attend this event in support of Max Leuchter's amazing students."
The program was made possible through the Vineland Education Association and the FAST grant program.
